Photo verification
Every profile you see on Novi has passed a live selfie check matched against their profile photos. Photo-verified means their photos match the person, not that we've verified identity or history.
What we don't do
Novi does not conduct criminal background screenings of members. Do not assume anything about a person because they appear on Novi; use the same judgment you would anywhere else.
Tools you'll have
- Report any member or conversation. A human on the Novi team reviews every report.
- Block anyone at any time. They won't be told, and you won't see each other again.
- Unmatch to end a match and its conversation.
Meeting someone for the first time
- Meet in a public place, especially the first few times.
- Get there and back on your own. Drive yourself or use your own ride.
- Tell a friend or family member where you're going and with whom.
- Never share financial information or send money to someone you haven't met. No legitimate match will ask.
- If you feel pressured or uncomfortable, stop. Leave. You owe no one an explanation.

Novi is for people 21 and over. It is built around scheduled calls and real dates, and that is where we set the line.
